Challenge #6: Two Different Things

Challenge #6  Deadline Sunday noon, 4/26

TWO DIFFERENT THINGS:  My latest idea for a useful art making prompt is simple, yet can be interpreted so many ways. The challenge is to identify two different things: people, shapes, materials, nouns, verbs, elements, etc. How they’re different should be clear to you, and probably to us :)

My example shown here is inspired by Earth Week: I paired something organic (iris shoots just outside the studio) with something inorganic (zip ties). You could do Andy Goldsworthy inspired outdoor installations with two materials?! Side-by-side sketches of ‘opposites’? Two different dogs straining at the leash?

As usual, you don’t have to call yourself an artist to participate! The more the merrier.

Two ways to share as follows (both are great but your choice).

Instagram. Tag with #fourhandscollab #symmetry #artinthetimeofcorona
plus #evanstonmade if appropriate

File upload for web gallery: go here and upload your file (this is a dropbox file request link, no account needed). Any media welcome, including sound files (.mp3) and video (urls from YouTube, Vimeo, Animoto, or Wistia). Title your piece with your name, understanding that title will show in the web gallery.  No text or explanations needed.
